When the mother of a boy is expecting a girl. The tradition needed the first born to be a boy (for the throne) and then a girl was needed to be married to other kingdoms’ princes.  

“Nous revenons de l’échographie et devinez quoi! Le choix du roi!” 
“We’re just coming back from the ultrasound and guess what! It’s a girl!”
