Hi Em! I will be travelling on my own to France and I am so nervous, can you tell me if it's possible to make the transit from Paris EST to St. Lazare within 45 mins and if it's difficult to find your way by metro (for transit) if you can't speak French at all? Thank you so much!
Hi Anon x)
Do you mean going from Gare de l’Est to Gare Saint-Lazare? If so, it takes about 20 minutes, you have to take the line 7 from the station “Gare de l’Est” to the station “Chaussée d’Antin (Lafayette)” and then walk. I made a map for you on the RATP website (The train and bus company of Paris). You can see on the map which streets you have to take to go from Chaussée d’Antin to Saint-Lazare (it’s really, really, really close though!)
Everything is made so foreigners can understand, the tickets machine are all in French / English and there’s maps pretty much everywhere! And even, if you’re lost, just mail me, I receive the tumblr asks on my phone xD (Thank God for creating Iphones…) or come off anon so I can explain you in private.
If you don’t mean “Gare de l’Est”, then I don’t know what you’re talking about… Airport? Marne-la-Vallée? East Paris is wide!
