Hello! I have a question: I am going to be living abroad for some time and I was wondering if it was a bad decision to bring my designer bag. It's not overtly designer- there are no logos or monogram like a Louis Vuitton or Chanel (it's a Prada bag I have), but, in my opinion, I think you can tell that this is a nice leather bag. Will people (mostly 20s-30s) judge me negatively for carrying an expensive bag? Will bringing this bag cost me chances of making friends or being seen as a nice person?
Relax, it’s just a bag… :) To be honest, you won’t impress anyone, and nobody will care about your bag. If you come to Paris, you’ll see hundreds (thousands?) of people carrying luxurious bags. It’s absolutely not something that would affect your social life in any way as it won’t help define neither your personality nor style in people’s mind so…
