What do the French think about McDonald's?

Highly unhealthy, place to avoid at all costs, extreme guilt after eating it but… GOOD FOOD. Ugh. 

How can one resist?

Also, I made my grandmother eat her first MacDonalds at 84, and her reaction was out of negociation: “… C’est dégueulasse.” I guess the old generation doesn’t dig it as much as we do…
