USA is impolite to you? Oh nooo :C I'm sorry; I try to be polite to every stranger I meet, no matter how frustrating the situation. Then again I was raisedin a culture where politeness and manners are emphasized so I feel awkward without it.

Not all Americans are like that! Thanks god, everybody’s different ;) As I said, it’s mostly due to cultural differences. Our French definition of good manners is slightly different but it doesn’t mean ours is best!  I don’t mean to judge anyone, I just confronted the cultural differences and how they’re perceived by the French way of thinking.

When I work with Americans, I have to adapt to their way to work, and honestly, it can be pretty relieving since French manners can make things very complicated. American are extremely straightforward, what can be an extremely good thing. But I must admit this is not something we’re used to, and we usually need to adapt at first.
